We had a fabulous time at the University of Puget Sound with L’Arche Seattle, L’Arche Spokane, and L’Arche Portland!
Our community recently gathered for the Belonging & Beyond West Regional Gathering, and it was an unforgettable multi-day experience filled with joy, deep reflection, and celebration. Here are the highlights of our time together:
- The Welcome: Monday kicked off with arrivals, a shared dinner, and an inspiring Opening Ceremony that set a beautiful tone for the days ahead.
- Deep Conversations: Tuesday and Wednesday morning featured Small Group sessions, giving everyone a space to connect closely, share stories, and build lasting bonds.
- Creativity & Talents: We were blown away by the community’s energy during the Solidarity Fair, the interactive Community Showcases, and Tuesday night’s unforgettable Variety Show!
- Joy & Movement: Wednesday afternoon gave participants freedom with the “You Choose!” activities, followed by a high-energy community Dance that had everyone moving.
- The Send-off: We wrapped up Thursday morning with one final breakfast together, filling our cups before checking out and heading home.
Throughout the week, the intentional rhythm of shared meals, centering reflections, and frequent snack breaks kept us grounded and deeply connected. Thank you to everyone who traveled, participated, and helped make this gathering such an amazing success!
