The L’Arche Farm and Garden is a supported employment and resale site: adults with intellectual disabilities work alongside staff and volunteers in agricultural tasks (growing plants, produce, nursery work, farmers market, and sales) in an integrated and inclusive environment. We offer produce that is not certified organic, although we use organic/sustainable growing methods and no pesticides.

Our program emphasizes mutual relationships (people with and without disabilities living, working and sharing community life together) rather than simply “care” for people with disabilities. The farm is not just a place of work, it is a place of belonging, growth, and connection with the land. The farm invites volunteers of all abilities, and tasks are adapted for many skill levels.
