Serena McMullin, Ananda

by Josie Ruiz, Ananada House Leader
A pregnant Serena first came to us from an outside company as a part-time/temporary assistant for Bobby. She would soon wow us with her abilities and care for Bobby anytime she spent time with us and we so badly wanted her to stay.
After she had baby Richard she also felt the need to return but this time as our very own L’Arche Tahoma Hope assistant.
Over the last year and a half Serena has been such a huge part of the community working at both Hopespring and Ananda houses.
She is always down to just dive in and do all the hard and silly things that come with living community life. You can often find her planting this spring and summer on Ananda’s porch, painting the windows of both houses with seasonal greetings, or creating small artwork for everyone to enjoy. All of Ananda and the community thanks Serena for her hard work and HUGE heart!

Do you know someone like Serena who would make a great assistant? Are you someone like that? We are hiring! Click the link for the details and reach out about joining our team.
