This summer, staying at home keeps core members healthy. It is hard to miss out on annual community vacations and other summer plans. But, Camp L’Arche shows just how much fun can be had in your own backyard.

WEEK 1 – Camp Spirit
What is camp without tie-dye!? To get everyone in the spirit of Camp L’Arche, each home and program chose a camp name and tie-dyed their camp shirts!

WEEK 2 – Outdoor Fun
As summer got hotter, Camp L’Arche found ways to stay cool with outdoor fun! Anawim splished and splashed their way to summer fun and smiles. Meanwhile, Ananda camped under the stars.
WEEK 3 – Love ’em Up; Secret Summer Santa
L’Arche is all about spreading love and joy even when times are tough. Camp groups shared their appreciation for one another with gifts and distanced visits.
WEEK 4 – Camp Cook-Off
L’Arche chefs took to the kitchens for a secret ingredient cook-off. The secret ingredients? Tomatoes and apples. L’Arche is no stranger to mixing ingredients. No matter how different they are, they can still be made into something beautiful.Here are our judges sampling the creations.
WEEK 5 – Art Week
Camp L’Arche showcased our artists. Art Week allowed everyone a chance to show their work and be celebrated.
WEEK 6 – Scavenger Hunt
No stone was left unturned in the Camp L’Arche Scavenger Hunt. The camp teams searched high and low to be the first to complete the big challenge.
Welcome Center Scavenger Hunt
Welcome Center folks joined L’Arche Homes and the Farm to celebrate Camp L’Arche, traveling to exciting places near and far. Check out these fun adventures!
WEEK 7 – Drive-In Movies
L’Arche shared a special night at the drive-in: physically distanced, but socially together! With popcorn popped and soda in hand, folks enjoyed a movie and a great night with friends.
WEEK 8 – End of the Trail Celebration
Camp L’Arche concluded with a Zoom celebration. Houses were provided with party boxes, songs were sung and memories were shared. It would have been easy to feel sad about missing out on traditional summer activities, but core members and assistants came together and celebrated the life that we share.
