Our Progress to Date
We are currenty in the planning phase of the Welcome Center project.
The Welcome Center will be located on Vickery Avenue next door to L’Arche’s Ananda home and behind the current office and Hopespring properties. We are working with architect and trusted advisor, Al Terry, to finalize plans for the 7,000 - 8,000-square-foot building and secure the necessary permits to begin construction. Our Board is evaluating options for engaging a general contractor to oversee the construction of the Welcome Center, which is anticipated to cost $1.7 million. Our goal is to break ground in summer 2016. Click on the links below to see the preliminary floor and site plans (subject to change, of course).

Our Capital Campaign...
We are launching a Capital Campaign to Raise $2.75 million.
A campaign steering committee of dedicated volunteers, chaired by faithful friend and supporter, Tom Pagano, is laying the groundwork for a public campaign in spring 2016. We are delighted to have Mike and Mary Jo Tucci as honorary chairs for the campaign, sharing their wisdom and experience as philanthropic donors and fundraisers. Mike and Mary Jo have been part of L’Arche Tahoma Hope’s circle of support since the early days of the community.
This is the first capital campaign in L’Arche Tahoma Hope’s nearly 40-year history. We are seeking gifts from our supporters that will be payable over a pledge period through December, 2019. Please consider investing in this important enhancement to our mission.
