L'Arche Tahoma Hope Home

Our Progress to Date

We are currently in the construction phase of the Welcome Center project.

The Welcome Center will be located on Vickery Avenue next door to L’Arche’s Ananda home and behind the current office and Hopespring properties. We have been working with architect and trusted advisor, Al Terry, who helped us secure the necessary permits. Construction began in October 2017 on the 7856-square-foot Welcome Center, with Korsmo Construction overseeing the work as general contractor. Our goal is to complete construction by May 2018.

Our Capital Campaign...

We have raised 80% of our Capital Campaign goal of $3.5 million.

As of the end of October, 2017, we have raised $2,850,000. Many faithful friends, including campaign chair, Tom Pagano have worked hard to help the campaign near its goal. We are delighted to have Mike and Mary Jo Tucci as honorary chairs for the campaign, sharing their wisdom and experience as philanthropic donors and fundraisers. Mike and Mary Jo have been part of L’Arche Tahoma Hope’s circle of support since the early days of the community. With $650,000 yet to raise, we are preparing for the public phase of the campaign which is set to begin in early 2018.

This is the first capital campaign in L’Arche Tahoma Hope’s nearly 40-year history. We are seeking gifts from our supporters that will be payable over a pledge period through December, 2019. Please consider investing in this important enhancement to our mission. Click here to see a list of donors to date.
